Tropical Exotics was first opened in May 2023 by father-and-son duo Russ and Tom Draper, along with the rest of the Draper family (even Nan, who loves nothing more than making salad for the tortoises ).

A labour of love, Tropical Exotics was born out of the passion Russ and Tom have for all things reptile. Recognising the need for an exotic pet shop in Rhyl and the surrounding area, the aim is to bring you the very best for your not-so-furry companion(s).
